Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd. was merged by absorption into Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe S.r.l.


Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd. Branch: Personal Care Department was opened in Düsseldorf (Germany)


Sumitomo Corporation acquired the Daiichi Fine Chemical Division of Kyowa Hakko Europe GmbH, transferring its cosmetic ingredients distribution business to Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd.


Daiichi Fine Chemical Europe GmbH became the cosmetic division of Kyowa Hakko Europe GmbH, sharing the same office premises in Düsseldorf (Germany)


KYOWA HAKKO BIO Co., LTD., a Japanese biotechnical company, acquired DAIICHI FINE CHEMICAL CO., LTD./Japan including its European subsidiary based in Düsseldorf (Germany).


Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd. was established in London, spinning out the Pharma business from Sumitomo Corporation Europe and Summit Chemicals Europe.


DAIICHI FINE CHEMICAL EUROPE GmbH (Düsseldorf/Germany) was founded as a subsidiary of DAIICHI PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD., a traditional Japanese company producing bulk pharmaceutical products since 1946. Thereafter it gradually established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of pantothenic acid derivatives (pro-vitamin B5)
